Ticket Options at Universal Studio and Islands of Adventure
I purchased our tickets
on line prior to our vacation. There are a variety of ticket
options available from single to multi-day passes for one or both parks.
Since pricing changes please consult the official
Universal Orlando Resort Ticket and Information page for details.
If you are traveling with younger children you may want to consider the
park to park pass for flexibility. This would give you the ability
to go from one park to the other if lines are long or the kids are
frustrated because they can not get on to a ride due to height
Universal does offer an
express pass for an additional fee. This pass will allow entry
into the express line once for each participating attraction. It
can be purchased in 2011 for between $25.99 to $89.99 per person
depending on the time of the year and anticipated demand. Since
pricing changes please consult the official
Universal Orlando Resort Express Pass Information page for details.
It is important to note that this is in addition to the normal park
entry pass. The park limits the quantities sold of these tickets
each day. These tickets are available for purchase on Universal's
website, at the park gates or at certain locations inside the parks. If
you are going at a time of the year when the park will be crowded before
you make this investment check the cost to stay at one of Universal's
onsite resorts vs. purchasing the express tickets. All guests staying at
the resort receive entry in the express line using their room key. In
addition, resort guests can enter the express line an unlimited amount
of times. The key is good from the date of check-in to all day on
the date of check out.
